It’s hard to imagine a bride and groom more picture perfect than Heather and Matt. This east coast couple chose one of my favorite venues, the picturesque Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, California. With the seriously talented Jose Villa as their photographer, the images of their summer black tie wedding are a thing of true beauty.
Heather wanted an elegant and romantic style, with blush, cream and gold as her color palette. Kathleen Deery created beautiful florals for the occasion, especially the personal flowers for the Heather’s bridal party. Simply stunning.
If I had to chose a favorite detail for this wedding, it may just be the special pieces created by calligrapher and artist Maybelle Imasa-Stukuls. She hand-painted dark wood signs with beautiful gold lettering for the wedding, drew a custom map of Carmel for guests’ welcome letters, and executed impeccable gold calligraphy on A Day in May’s invitation suite. Amazing in every way.
