In April 2015, the inaugural Wedding Planner Masterclass by Laurie Arons was held at the five-star Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, Montana. The four-day retreat for up-and-coming wedding planners focused on educating and inspiring attendees to reach the next level in their business.
A wonderful team of industry leaders hosted seminars and lectures to students on best practices in wedding planning. Attendees also shared one-on-one time, meals and ranch activities with guest speakers to ask questions and gain unique knowledge specific to their business needs.
Working with Mindy Rice Design and Amber Moon of Pitbulls & Posies, the outdoor welcome dinner focused on a rustic Montana design. Vintage wood chairs, tin chargers, leather-cut table menus and personalized leather bracelets felt right at home in the countryside.
In contrast, the styled wedding ceremony and dinner table brought out the feminine side of the west. Casa de Perrin’s lace china, pewter flatware & cut crystal were dreamy on the smocked table linen sourced by Mindy Rice.
