Jackson Hole BBQ

Planning C&D’s four day wedding weekend in Jackson Hole, Wyoming was a truly career highlight.  The couple’s fun-loving, creative personalities paired with the bride’s parents’ gracious hosting style made for a weekend their friends and family will never forget.

The Friday night celebration was an outdoor barbecue in a sunny pasture with sweeping views of the Tetons. Guests gathered on the lawn for vintage games & old-fashioned kite flying, set to the music of local favorite One Ton Pig. As they mingled, they could grab a specialty cocktail from Silver Bungalow’s vintage Airstream or “crack a cold one” with their brass bottle opener from the escort wall.

Skyline Tent Company’s unique teepee-shaped tents were the perfect blend of form and function. Inside, we featured different dinner stations by Genevieve Catering, such as a roasted bison tenderloin carving station, a mouth watering Taco Bar, and fresh seasonal sides and salads. Guests then enjoyed their dinner under a sailcloth tent with flowers and decor from Mindy Rice Design and Theoni Collection’s chic spatterware.

It’s funny to admit, but one of my favorite details from the night were the “pee pee teepees” brought in for rest rooms, set up in an adjacent clearing. These portable restrooms take glamping to a whole new level.
