If I'm ever having a day where I need a little inspiration, I can thank Jose Villa for these images of Sarah & Pat's wedding in Pebble Beach. Their ceremony on the Old 5th Tee overlooking the sea and sky can still give me chills. Mindy Rice Design surrounded the guest chairs in overflowing florals, creating an intimate space for the heartfelt & personal vows.
Following the ceremony, Sarah & Pat led their guests to the reception at Pebble Beach Resort's Beach & Tennis Club. They took a stop at the Stillwater Cove pier for a New England inspired cocktail hour, with seafood hors d'oeuvres and comforting chowder bar. Sophisticated nautical touches, weathered wood pedestals and a wall of hanging escort frames looked right at home in the setting.
Dinner and dancing took place at the Beach & Tennis Club. Their ballroom is one of my favorite indoor venues, due to its full wall of windows overlooking the ocean and golf course. The ceiling received an installation of lanterns and greenery, casting a gentle glow on the soft dinner tables. One of the most touching moments was Pat's speech delivered in Mandarin to Sarah's Chinese family.
